How the Asia Cosplay Meet Championship(Finals) will work in Singapore:
[This refers to the scenario in Cosfest X.1]
The Asia Cosplay Meet Championship will be held in the following manner:
1) All participating countries will send their National Team(3 members) to join the competition.
2) Each member of the National Teams must perform one individual skit.
3) After each member has performed one skit, the three members will join up again to perform together in one performance. At least one stage prop is compulsory for the team performance.
In step 2 and 3, each member is performing for their country's scores.
*It is compulsory to have different costumes for the individual performance and for the combined performance although the series can remain the same. There should be no repeated costumes for the individual performance and the combined team performance.
The Awards for the Asia Cosplay Meet Championship will be for:
1) Best Country
2) Finest Cosplayer in Asia
Each individual performance will contribute to the country's total score.
For example, in the case of Singapore, the National Team consisting of 3 cosplayers will get scores of A, B,C respectively.
The combined performance will get the score of D.
The score of "Best Country" is derived from A+B+C+D.
The rationale is that the Country with the best cosplayers will have cosplayers who can do well independently and can strive at teamwork.
The title of the "Finest Cosplayer in Asia" will be derived from the individual performances.
